HOW TO USE THE LOUNGE: The atmosphere and feel of the lounge where parents and children gather before the show should be very welcoming. This may include: Refreshments. Live music. Some puppeteering. Even a picture puzzle of two. Also, Children News and Weather segment practice. Overall we need the lounge to be fun and an attraction to kids for we depend upon on existence upon those volunteer parents and child to come through our front door and enter the lounge.
CURENT WORK: 1) In August/September recruit kids with free movie tickets 2) Board Zoom Show Approval 3) Begin learning & using Riverside.fm Software for Podcasting and Archiving.
Our Unique Challenges for Our Show In Silver City
— Becoming popular enough that our Saturday discussion group has the numbers and is diverse.
— Lack of money for the station at large.
— In such a small town trying to maintain sufficient anonominity for the children.
